I have noticed quite a bit of support for HR 676, the Conyers/Kucinich bill for universal health care, so I went and read the entire bill. I believe it is a good idea in principle, but, as always, the devil is in the details. I have read the entire bill in it's entirety, not just the many summaries available out there. I think some people may be surprised at what the details actually are. With that said, here is my breakdown of what I feel needs to be addressed before I can stand fully in support of it's passage. The actual text of the bill is in bold, while my comments are in regular type.
